I hope that you all had a great holiday with your family and friends this season. Remember it is nice to get gifts, but it’s more important to give and to make memories that will last a life time!!! I have to give a huge thank you to everyone who helped make #SUPERGORGECHRISTMAS 2014 a success. Every Christmas IAMSUPERGORGE.com provides families in the DMV (DC, MD,VA) area with a full Christmas, including shoes, clothes, underwear, outerwear, toys, games, dinner and this year furniture, for one of our families who’s house caught on fire in November.
This year’s SUPERGORGE CHRISTMAS was extra special for me as we took along my children Antonio and Ashton, to make deliveries to the families. It’s extremely important for me to instill in my children the importance of giving back and doing for others.
Thank you to all of our friends, family and readers who donated gifts, money and time (especially our 5am wrap crew Farzana, Marquis, Janeen, Angela and DJ P Drama) because of you we were able to put smiles (and tears) on this year’s families faces, leaving them with not only a great Christmas, but with memories that will last forever and letting them know that there are amazing people in this world who care about the well being of others.
Also a very special thank you to our sponsors that weren’t filmed, DTLR for always donating shoes for every member of our adopted families, Metro Wing House (4404 St Barnabas Rd Marlow Heights, MD 20748) for providing a full Christmas dinner and Dawn Marie for your gracious monetary donation, you guys were the cherry on our pie. Lol.
